PoE (Power over Ethernet) is a technology that allows network cables (Ethernet cables) to carry both data and electrical power to devices over a single cable. This means you can power devices like IP phones, IP cameras, wireless access points, and IP paging systems without needing a separate power adapter or electrical outlet nearby.
It's especially useful for simplifying installations, reducing cable clutter, and powering devices in places where it might be hard to run electrical wiring.
