How do VoIP Phones Work?
Google Voice Business Phones
VoIP stand for Voice Over Internet Protocol. VoIP phones change voice data into digital data, allowing this data to flow through the Internet seamlessly instead of using traditional analog phone lines. Once this data reaches the other end of the phone line it is changed back into voice data. Imagine you have two cans connected by a string. When one person speaks into the can (phone) their voice data goes to the string. Once it reaches the string (Internet), it turns into a digital version of this data so that is can flow more quickly and clearly through the string to the next can (phone). Once it reaches the can (phone) on the other end of the string, it turns back into voice data, allowing the person on the other end to hear what you are saying in a clear, concise, and quick manner!
