Hello and thank you for your question. The Fanvil i10S intercom is compact and IP54 rated for only dust and splash protection. The Fanvil i16S is IP65 rated which is for dust, rain, and heavy weather. The i16S is more rugged and reliable for outdoor use with a 3-watt speaker versus the i10S which is a 1-watt speaker.
