You can factory reset the Algo 8028 through the WebUI or through the boot up process:
WebUI:
- Open your web browser, enter the device's IP address, and log in. (The factory default password is algo).
- Navigate to the System tab and select Maintenance.
- Click on Restore Configuration to Defaults.
- Reboot the device to complete the reset process
Boot up process:
- Power cycle the unit by disconnecting and reconnecting the PoE network cable or optional power jack.
- Wait until the Power light begins to flash. Do not press the reset button before it flashes.
- Press and hold the reset button (located on the front panel of the controller unit) using a paperclip or pointed tool.
- Keep holding the button until the LED light shifts to a double flash pattern, then release it.
